Students in Robert Riege’s advanced placement American history course at Austin High School square dance during a western feast they held Tuesday following a unit on the U.S.’s western expansion period. The feast involved western-themed costumes and time period dishes like venison, chili and sourdough all prepared by the sophomores with recipes found in the school’s library.
