It took two days, but there finally is a New Year’s baby born in Mower County.

It took two days, but there finally is a New Year’s baby born in Mower County.
Andrew Schumacher was born at 3:42 p.m. Tuesday at Austin Medical Center, according to Tami Oldfather, AMC’s communications manager.
Andrew’s parents are Erin and Mike Schumacher of Austin. They also have another son, Isaac.
No babies were born at Austin Medical Center on New Year’s Day.
