King Herod, right, greets the Three Wisemen during a re-enactment of the Bible’s Christmas story Saturday night at the Christmas Alive! pageant. The Gerald Buecksler family hosted the pageant on their farm south of Brownsdale, where more than 60 children and teen-agers from Our Savior’s Lutheran Church of Brownsdale recreated the original Christmas story in farm buildings with animals.
