Answer: All are nominees for induction into the Austin High School Sports Hall of Fame.

The six stellar student-athletes will be honored Feb. 9 when the Austin High School Packers host Owatonna in a Big Nine Conference boys basketball contest.

The Hall of Fame nominating committee announced their choices Tuesday and, once again, the list of inductees is impressive.

Strey is a retired teacher and long-time assistant baseball coach and head basketball coach.

Justice graduated from AHS in 1982 after a distinguished high school sports career in football, basketball and baseball.

Diggins-Ulrich is a 1980 graduate at AHS who excelled in volleyball, basketball and softball.

Ball, a 1971 graduate, was a standout in football and basketball and continues to be the assistant head boys basketball coach for the Packers.

Schumacher graduated from AHS in 1960 and was another outstanding three-sport athlete, lettering in basketball, baseball and football.

His fans knew him as "Red Barnett" through the years when he excelled in football and wrestling far the Packers.

The six AHS graduates or their representatives will be feted during the Hall of Fame weekend at AHS and honored during halftime ceremonies at the Feb. 9 boys basketball game. On Feb. 10, the Hall of Fame inductees will be guests of honor at a luncheon at the Austin Eagles Club.
