A total of 131 awards were handed out at a recent banquet honoring the members of this year’s Lyle/Pacelli volleyball team.

The event was held at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Lyle. All varsity players received a conference championship plaque.

Letters were awarded to: Katie Foster, Kari Frank, Natalie Emiliusen, Nicole Emiliusen, Chrissy Kluczny, Cassie Fuller, Amy Bickler, Laura Nelson, Kassie Baldner, Brianna Enfield, Amber Peterson, Michelle Mino and Joni Sheedy.

The game ball was given to Sheedy for 700 career kills. Laura Nelson made the all-tournament team at the Rebel Tourney. She also received awards for honorable mention All-State and for being selected to the USA Volleyball International Team.

"Outstanding" awards also were presented:

Hitter: Nelson, 315, and Sheedy, 283

Blocker: Nelson, 82 blocks

Setter: Bickler, 560 assists

Server: Mino, 97 percent average, 179 points, 32 aces

Digger: Kluczny, 260

Passer: Fuller, 97 percent
