Sanvick is wanted in connection with the sexual assault of an 18-year-old female acquaintance.

The warrant charges him with three counts of felony criminal sexual conduct in the first degree.

According to Chief Deputy Terese Amazi, Sanvick alleged repeatedly sexually assaulted a female with whom he had a "significant relationship" at the man’s home Tuesday.

The woman was restrained with handcuffs and also repeatedly threatened with harm, including the holding of a gun to the victim’s head at one point in the ordeal.

A 2-year-old child of the female was in the house at the time of the day-long assault. The child was not injured.

The woman went to Sanvick’s house in Brownsdale after finishing work Monday night with her son and took a nap. When she awoke, she was handcuffed and the attacks began, according to the report.

When the assault ended, Sanvick drove the woman and her child to their residence and left. She called local law enforcement. The woman was treated and released at Austin Medical Center after being interviewed.

The Brownsdale Police Department is assisting the Mower County Sheriff’s Department in the investigation.

Sanvick is described as a white male, 5’5", 125 pounds with blue eyes and blonde hair. He owns a 1991 Ford Escort 2-door with Minnesota license BZT-141.

Because he has possession of firearms, he is considered dangerous.

Because he did not show up at his place of employment, authorities believe the suspect has left the area.

Anyone knowing the whereabouts of Sanvick is asked to call the Mower County Sheriff’s Department immediately at 437-9400.
