The weather gets better today.
The Austin Daily Herald has teamed up with KIMT Channel 3 to offer comprehensive weather information to our readers. This includes not only a complete package of weather information on our back page each day, but also a dedicated link from our Web site to KIMT’s exclusive weather information for southern Minnesota.
KIMT’s three StormTeam 3 meteorologists will prepare the weather information each day in the Herald. The exclusive report is tailored to our readers and now includes the following:
– A new regional forecast map.
– KIMT’s exclusive five-day local forecast.
– Detailed weather information for the state of Minnesota.
– Temperatures and precipitation data.
– A daily weather tip.
"We’re very excited to be able to utilize the weather resources we have here in the StormTeam 3 Forecast Center to provide people with the weather in a new portable way," KIMT StormTeam 3 chief meteorologist Ryan Burchett said. "It also provides a fun chance for us to interact with the readers by answering weather questions every day in our ‘Weather Tip Of The Day’ column. It should be a service that is valuable as a source of information but also an enjoyable and educational place to turn every day."
Burchett will be joined by KIMT staff meteorologists David Paul and Adam Frederick in gathering the information that will appear daily in the Herald.
We’re excited to bring our readers this enhanced weather information that is prepared locally. Turn to Page 14 of today’s Herald to see how much better the weather is in the Herald. And if you’re on your computer at work or home, click on "weather" on our home page at https://www.austindailyherald.com to get late-breaking weather information that is updated regularly by KIMT StormTeam 3. We think you’ll like better weather.
