A Hayward firefighter sprays water through the side of an overturned semi trailer to cool down the 196 hogs inside. The driver of the semi truck, Jeff Stelzer, said he was trying to pass a motorhome on eastbound Interstate 90, just west of Highway 34 in Freeborn County, when the motorhome cut in front of him. Stelzer said he drove onto the shoulder, and when he came back onto the freeway, the vehicle flipped on its side. He was from Sleepy Eye, Minn., en route to the Hormel Foods Corp. plant in Austin. All those involved escaped with minor injuries.
