The Austin Packers will be on the road for a few games instead of at home in the coming week.
Tuesday they were in Burnsville and triumphed 10-6. Wednesday they played in Mankato and knocked out five home runs in an 18-8 victory. Hitting the ball over the fence were John Frein, Craig Selk, Matt Raso, Mitch Mullenbach, and Garret Swank.
Changes have been made to the schedule because of the flood. Tonight Austin will play in Owatonna at 7:30 p.m. as the home team. Saturday’s game with Eagle Lake has been canceled; instead they will be playing in Waseca. Sunday’s game with Lake City has been canceled. They instead will play in Rochester at 6 p.m. Austin will be the home team in this contest.
Austin is now 29-15 overall and 5-3 in the Southern Minny League.
