A highly successful season is winding down for the Austin Arsenal Under 17 boys soccer team. They are 8-1-1 in the Classic II South Division of the Minnesota Youth Soccer summer leagues. Their record is good for second place behind St. Louis Park (9-0-2).

On Thursday night, Austin played Wright County in an away game. Tonight they close out the regular season hosting Wright County at 7:15 p.m. at the Todd Park soccer complex. St. Louis Park closes out the regular season with a game against Northfield.

If Austin wins both games against Wright County and St. Louis Park loses, Austin takes first place in the South and automatically advances to the state tournament that begins July 29. Any other scenario has Austin qualifying for state by winning a couple of sectional games.
