Willford shot an 82 on Wednesday.

Mike was 10 over par through 12 holes of play on Wednesday," Riverland golf coach David Lillemon said. "He then regained his composure and went even par the last six holes. I thought he might shoot a 90 on the Donald Ross-designed course. The greens are very difficult. It is a tough putting course."

Leading the tournament is Kevin O’Connor of Mitchell College. His two-round total is 145. Willford is at 163.
