These three little pigs might have laughed too soon – the big bad wolf is coming round. The pigs pictured, top, from left, are played by Brayden Hall, Betsy Langowski and Meighan Byron. Kyle Larson, left, is the Big Bad Wolf. Matchbox Children’s Theatre promises thrills, scares and lots of laughter with its third and last show of the season that cleverly combines the tale of the "The Three Little Pigs" and "Little Red Riding Hood." "It’s great family entertainment," director Jan Thomas said. "There’s slapstick, a lot of adult jokes that will go right over the kids’ heads, plenty of action and a lot of audience participation. Children will have fun and get scared … maybe." "Who’s Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf?" starts Friday at 7 p.m. at the Paramount Theatre and continues both Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3.50 for children and senior citizens and are available at Nemitz’s or at the door. The play lasts an hour.
