Lucy (played by Mel Stauffer) listens to the laments of a Valentine-less Charlie Brown (played by Beau Edwards) in Riverland’s production of "You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown." The energetic and entertaining musical was scheduled last year, director Jerry Girton said, long before Charlie Brown’s creator, Charles Schultz, died. Showtime is 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, May 4-6 and at 2 p.m. on Sunday at Riverland’s Frank W. Bridges Theatre. Tickets may be reserved by calling 433-0595 or purchased at the door, Nemitz’s or Riverland Bookstores. "It’s a fun show," Girton said. "A great one for the whole family."
