Shirley M. Williamson, 71

Shirley M. Williamson, 71, of 2003 D Burr Oak Drive, died Tuesday morning, Feb. 8, 2000 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester.

Survivors include her husband, Nordeen Williamson, Austin; daughter and son-in-law Barbara and John W. Schmitt, Staples, Minn., three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, three brotehrs and sisters-in-law, Nels Jr. and Bonnie Jorgenson, Austin, Richard and Mary Jorgenson, Tuscon, James and Mary Jane Jorgenson, Austin, Marie and Gilbert Graves, Dexter, Susan Jorgenson, Bloomington.

· Service: 1:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 11, at Queen of Angels Catholic Church with Fr. Virgil Duellman officiating.

· Visitation: Noon-1 p.m. Friday, with a rosary recited 15 minutes before the service.

· Interment: Calvary Cemetery

Lorraine Gunderson Eye, 75

Lorraine Gunderson Eye, 75, Austin died Thusday, Feb. 10, at Belle Plaine Lutheran Home’s special care unit.

· Service: 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 12, at St. Olaf Lutheran Church.

· Visitation: 9-11 a.m. Saturday at St. Olaf Lutheran Church.

· Interment: Oakwood Cemetery

Mary Shaman, 98

Mary Shaman, age 98, formerly of Austin and long-time resident of Long Beach, Calif. died Saturday, February 5, 2000 at Long Beach Community Hospital in Long Beach, Calif.

She was boprn July 16, 1901 in Belgian, France. She married Luis Overfelt November 8, 1920 in Waereghem, Belgian, France. They came to the United States in 1922 to work in Nebraska. They were married for 39 years until his death in 1959.

On February 1, 1967, she married Harold Shaman at Las Vegas, Nevada. They resided in Long Beach, Calif. where she was a homemaker.

Her hobnies were crocheting, embroidering, walking the dog, spending time at the beach and traveling.

Survivors include her husband, Harold of Long Beach, Calif.; duaghters and sons-in-law, Lorraine Feuerhak of Austin; Bernice and William Schulz of Osage, Iowa; step-daughter and husband, Nora and Duane Mattick of Lyle; step-son and wife, Harold "Joe" and Kaye Shaman of Concord, Calif.; seven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren and two great, great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Overfelt; one brother and her parents.

· Service: 11 a.m. Saturday, February 12, 2000, at Worlein Funeral Home in Austin with the Rev. Paul Nelson officiating.

· Visitation: 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, February 11, 2000, and one hour before services Saturday.

· Interment: Oakwood Cemetery

Lillian M. Sullivan, 72

Lillian Mae Sullivan, age 72, of 128 Clinton Street, Mapleview, died Wednesday, February 9, 2000 at her home of natural causes. She was born May 26, 1927 in Chatanooga, Tenn. Lillian grew up in Tennessee and later lived in New Orleans, Louis. and in California before moving to Minnesota. A house counselor at the girl’s villa, she worked for Woodvale and was a member of the Austin Eagles Auxiliart. She loved the outdoors, going camping and fishing with friends.

Lillian is survived by many friends, including speciasl friends, Marlene Hillson of Austin and Ivan and Lorena Bartholomew and family of Lyle.

Casket bearers are Kim Schwartz, Karlene Langan, Robert Orr, Ivan Bartholomew, Jeremy Bartholomew and Marv Eckert. Kim Horgeshimer is an honorary bearer.

· Service: 1:30 p.m. Friday, February 11, 2000, at Worlein Funeral Home with the Rev. James I. Mikkelson officiating.

· One hour before the service.

· Interment: Oakwood Cemetery.

Mildred A. Fahler, 86

Mildred A. Fahler, 86, died Wednesday, February 9, 2000, at St. Mark’s Lutheran Home, Austin, where she was a resident.

She was born October 29, 1913, in Minnesota Lake Township at Wells to Louis and Catherine (Veloski) Neubauer. She worked as a teacher and in child care.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Robert D. and Marilyn L. Fahler, Glendale Heights, Ill., one grandson, Joseph D. Fahler; one brother, Charles E. Neubauer, Wells; and a sister-in-law, Catherine Neubauer, Wells.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Catherine Neubauer, a daughter, Kathryn M. Boener, a son-in-law, Duane Boener, two grandsons, Todd and Richard, and a brother, Roger H. Neubauer.

· Service: Noon Saturday, February 12, 2000, at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Austin, with the Revs. Paul Nelson and Frank Enright officiating.

· Visitation: 4-7 p.m. today Friday, February 11, 2000, at Mayer Funeral Home where there will be a 4 p.m. CCW rosary and 6:30 p.m. wake. Also 10:30-11:30 a.m. Saturday, February 12, 2000, at the funeral home.

· Interment: Calvary Cemetery.

Regina Koenigs, 91

STACYVILLE, Iowa – Regina (Bissen) Koenigs, 91 of Stacyville, Iowa, died Wednesday, February 9, 2000, at Good Samaritan Center, St. Ansgar, Iowa.

Regina (Bissen) Koenigs was born June 2, 1908 at Johnsburg, Minn., the daughter of John and Christina (Waldorf) Bissen.

She married Arnold Koenigs at Meyer, Iowa, April 30, 1929, and they farmed in the Meyer, Iowa area until retirement in 1976, when they moved to Stacyville, Iowa.

She enjoyed her family, quilting, gardening and flowers.

Survivors include her children, Bonita and John Streit, Mary Ann and Norb Klapperich and Aggie and Maynard Theobald, all of Stacyville, Iowa, Geni and Ken Detviler, Inver Grove Heights, Geri and Roger Fisher, Shakopee, Gilbert and Norma Koenigs, Inver Grove Heights and Bernie amd Judy Kopenigs of Eagle Lake, 39 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her parents and seven siblings.

· Service: 11 a.m. Saturday, February 12, 2000, at Visitation Catholic Church, Stacyville, Iowa, with the Rev. Joseph Schneider officiating.

· Visitation: 2:30-8 p.m. today Friday at Visitation Catholic Church with 3 p.m. rosary and 7:30 p.m. wake service.

· Interment: Visitation Church Cemetery.

Mary Wolff, 51

Mary (Gaul) Wolff, 51, formerly of Rt. 2, Austin, died Friday, February 4, 2000, at Houston, Texas, where she made her home.

She was born April 3, 19, to Harold and Sinnie Gaul at Austin. She attended Excelsior District No. 12 country school, Woodson Elementary School, Ellis Junior High and graduated Austin High School in 1966. She attended Austin Junior College and worked part-time in the St. Olaf Hospital kitchen. After college she worked as a receptionist/switchboard operator with International Transport, Rochester.

She married Roger Wolff, Myrtle, February 1, 1978. The couple lived and worked in Milwaukee, Wis., Houston, Texas and Prior Lake. While living in Houston, Texas, she worked for CyFair Food Production.

Survivors include her husband, Roger; sons Scott and Nicholas, Houston, Texas; parents, Harold and Sinnie Gaul, Austin; mother-in-law, Margaret Wolff, Austin, and brother-in-law, Nancy and Allen Paape, Waltham; brothers and sisters-in-law, Harold and Vickie Gaul, Austin, Robert and Kim Gaul, Mundelein, Ill.; brother-in-law, Arnold and Linda Wolff, Austin; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

· Service: 11 a.m. Monday, February 14, 2000, at Grace Lutheran Church, Austin, with the Rev. Arvid Jovaag officiating.

· Visitation: At the church one hour before services Monday.

Hazel M. Stundahl, 67

Hazel Mae Stundahl, age 67, of Cosmos, died Wednesday, February 9, 2000 at Renville County Hospital.

She was born May 3, 1932 in Austin, the daughter of Charles and Ruby Houck. She graduated Austin High School. She was employed by the F.W. Woolworth Co. For a number of years, She lived in other parts of Minnesota and was most recently a resident of the Cosmos Health Care Center at Cosmos, Minn.

She was preceded in death by her father

She is survived by son, Mark of Minneapolis; daughter and son-in-law, Mary Jo and David Klaustermeier of Young America, Minn.; four grandchildren, three great grandchildren; mother and step-father, Ruby and Milo Barclay of Austin; brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Pam Houck of Earlville, IL., Arnold and Barb Houck of Junita, Neb.; sisters and brothers-in-law, Loretta (Chick) and Charles Roseth of Babbitt, Minn. and Debra and Philip Eirikson of Asutin, Minn.

· Service: 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 11, 2000, at Clasen-Jordan Mortuary with the Rev. David Simerson officiating.

· Visitation: Noon until time of service Saturday, February 12, 2000, at Clasen-Jordan Mortuary.

· Interment: Oakwood Cemetery.

Sylvia C. Cole, 100

Sylvia C. Cole, age 100, of St. Paul and formerly of Austin, died Thursday, February 10 at the Health East Nursing Home in St. Paul where she was a resident.

· Service: 10:30 a.m. on Monday, February 14, 2000 at St. Augustine Catholic Church with Father Paul Nelson officiating.

· The family will greet friends one-half hour before the service at the church.

· Interment: Calvary Cemetery.

Violet Meyer, 90

Violet Meyer, age 90, formerly of Austin, died Thursday, February 10, 2000, at THorne Crest South in Albert Lea, where she was a resident.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Duane and Sharon Freund, Cottage Grove, Minn, Gary and Janet Freund, Bloomington, Minn.; six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren.

· Service: 10:30 a.m. Monday, February 14, 2000 at St. Augustine Catholic Church with Father Paul Nelson officiating.

· Visitation: one-half hour before services Saturday at the church.

· Interment: Calvary Cemetery.
