Emily McAlister watches her bobber and waits patiently for a nibble during the second annual Ice Fishing Contest on East Side Lake Sunday afternoon. A 5-ounce rock bass caught by Jeff Grothe took the first prize of $100. Second place was a tie between Destiny Pitcock and Kyle Miller, who each landed a 3-ounce perch and $50. Nick Marsolek hauled in a 2-ounce perch and the $25 third prize. The contest was sponsored by George’s Pizza and Charlie’s Lounge.
