Austin High School juniors Tessa Rockafellow, left, Ruby Torres and Karrin Wagner comfort each other after signing a wooden cross Tuesday afternoon at the scene of an accident that killed their classmate and friend, Jill Bos. "She was a special girl and we’ll miss her always," Torres said. Crosses, flowers, photographs and other items were left at the scene, which was visited by students and others throughout the day Tuesday. A vigil for Bos was Tuesday evening.
