World War II veteran and Pearl Harbor survivor Robert N. Hague Sr., 81, of Rochester was given graveside military honors at Oakwood Cemetery in Austin Tuesday by Austin American Legion Post 91. Near the end of the ceremony, Hague’s daughter, Marsha Hague, left, friend Lonnie Smith, center, and son Bruce Hague pay their respects as they stand behind Hague’s headstone. Tuesday marked the anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor, which killed 2,334 and precipitated America’s involvement in World War II. There are 9,000 Pearl Harbor survivors alive today.
