Austin resident Susan Allen shot her first hole-in-one Monday, while golfing at the Cedar River Country Club in Adams. Allen aced the 101-yard No. 8 hole, using a 5-iron.

Allen’s husband, Jerry Allen, witnessed the event.

Also Monday, Austinite Frank Lorenzen shot a hole-in-one on the 168-yard No. 16 hole at Cedar River.

Lorenzen’s feat was witnessed by Ray Beckmann, Tom Spindler and Dave Jacobson.
