An Austin firefighter works at an accident scene on Friday, cutting a hole that allowed trapped hogs to be released. According to an Austin Police report, the semi-trailer truck rollover in Austin resulted in the death of four hogs. The rig was southbound on Highway 218 North, coming into Austin. While turning onto the eastbound entrance to Interstate 90, the truck, destined for Hormel, rolled over. In addition to the Austin Fire Department, Austin Police and the State Highway Patrol responded to the scene. The driver was uninjured.
