Diane J. Schrom, 48, Austin, was one of three victims of a pickup truck-car fatal accident early Saturday morning in Scott County.

According to the Scott County Sheriff’s Department, Schrom was a passenger in a pickup truck. The driver, whose identity was not announced today by the Sheriff’s Department, was taken to a hospital and treated and released.

The fatality occurred at 12:12 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of Scott County No. 21 and 91 southeast of Prior Lake.

Sara Kirkpatrick and Kristin Klarich, both 18, of Hibbing and traveling in an automobile, were dead at the scene.

Diane J. Schrom was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, where she died.

No other details were available at press-time, according to the Scott County Sheriff’s Department.
