Rocky Hulne has been the Austin Daily Herald's sports editor since September 2007. He moved to Austin after a one-year stint of covering sports in Pierre, S.D. Before that he worked at a weekly paper in Durand, Wis. Rocky graduated from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls, where he got a chance to cover the Kansas City Chiefs' training camp one summer. Rocky is originally from North Dakota, but went to high school in Shell Lake, Wis.

Matt Breitbarth (left to right), Kody Phillips, and Chris Koppa have helped lead the Austin/Southland bowling team to an undefeated record so far this season. Breitbarth is currently the top bowler in the Southeast Western Conference and Koppa is No. 2 in the conference.
