Vikings sweep Glenville/Emmons

The Hayfield volleyball team moved on in the Subsection 1A tournament with a 25-12, 26-24, 25-14 win over Glenville/Emmons in Hayfield Thursday.
The No. 2 seeded Vikings (18-9 overall) were led by Kiley Severson who had 12 kills, while Molly Streightiff had 13 assists, Rachel Czaplewski had 11 assists, Alyssa Selk had 17 digs, Abby Blanchard had six kills and 10 digs, Sam Serratore had 15 digs, and Liz Ristau had five kills.
Hayfield will play sixth-seeded Blooming Prairie in Mayo Civic Arena at 4:30 p.m. Saturday.
