Vikings fall to Cougars

The Hayfield football team (0-2 overall) couldn’t dig itself out of an early hole in a 36-18 loss to Zumbrota/Mazeppa in Hayfield Friday.
The Vikings scored the scored last 18 points of the game, but the Cougars scored the first 36.
Z/M racked up 209 yards on the ground, while it held Hayfield to 109 rushing.
Adam Kruger had an 86-yard kickoff return for a score for Hayfield, and Jake Siemers added two TD runs.
