Vikings edge out Triton

Hayfield’s volleyball team (1-2 overall, 1-1 HVL) beat Triton (1-2 overall, 1-1 HVL) in five games 25-23, 25-22, 22-25, 16-25, 15-7 Thursday night in Hayfield.

The Vikings were led by Kiley Severson, who had 20 kills and four ace blocks, Jordyn Krekling had nine kills and 19 digs, and Molly Streightiff had 21 assists, five kills and two ace blocks.

Maddi Nerenhausen had 10 kills and eight digs for Triton and Jessica Clark had 12 digs and seven blocks.
