Riverland to host Mexican trip informational meetings today

Riverland Community College students and faculty, along with members from the community, will travel to Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico Jan. 2-11.

“Mexico Marvels” informational meetings will be held today from 3:30 to 4 p.m. in Riverland Austin East Building, room C116 and also from 4:30 to 5 p.m. in the Riverland Albert Lea conference room 116.

Participants will receive Spanish language instruction from Mexican instructors at the Mexico Cemanahuac Language School and will stay with selected families to enhance skills and learn the culture — a full immersion experience. The trip also includes two full-day excursions, two half-day excursions, a walking tour of Cuernavaca and a two-night stay at a hotel in Mexico City.
