Austin Jaycees raffle Honda scooter

The Austin Jaycees are still selling raffle tickets for a 2008 Honda scooter.

Tickets are $10 and available at all Ankeny’s Mini Mart locations and Lyle Liquor, and members will be selling tickets at Hy-Vee, Walgreens and at the Girls’ Fastpitch Softball Tournament this weekend at Todd Park.

The drawing will be on the Fourth of July before the fireworks. Other prizes include a TV, recliner and many more.

Only 1,200 raffle tickets will be sold.

Winners need not be present to win. Proceeds benefit community service efforts.

Tickets for the July 5 Jaycees Street Dance on Main Street can be purchased for $5 each or five for $20 at the Austin Area Chamber of Commerce.
