Blue Sox will host fan appreciation night Sunday

The Austin Blue Sox will host their fan appreciation night this Sunday when they take on the Austin Athletics in an amateur baseball game at Marcusen Park at 6 p.m.
The game will have fee admission as well as many festivities.
With the night starting at 4:30 p.m. with the beginning of a raffle for an I-Pod Nano, other events will include a meet Joe Huffman session, Miss Austin passing out ice cream and kids being selected as honorary starters.
During the game, the Austin Daily Herald will pass out promo balls, there will be Blue Sox Trivia, a bean bag toss and a base running gauntlet.
