Mabel/Canton hands Cardinal volleyball team their first loss

The LeRoy/Ostrander volleyball team (2-1 overall) couldn’t keep up with Mabel/Canton in a three-game loss by scores of 15-25, 15-25, 9-25 Thursday in LeRoy.
“Mabel-Canton is a very good team with very aggressive hitters and servers,” L/O head coach Lisa Swenson said. “We did not play our best game and the girls know that we have a lot of work to do. We are still struggling with some line up problems but plan to have it all worked out in the next week.”
Alana Roe had seven kills for L/O, Kaylee Bunne had four kills, and McKinzie Bunne had 14 assists.
Kate Horihan had 19 kills for M/C (2-0 overall) and Kayla O’Bieglo had 42 assists.
