Christianson leads the charge as LP girls beat Mayer Lutheran

Lyle-Pacelli’s front court carried the load as the No. 1 ranked Athletics beat Mayer Lutheran (7-6 overall) 69-50 in the Hayfield Girls Basketball Showcase in Hayfield Saturday.
Olivia Christianson scored 10 straight points in a 22-4 run, which put LP up 48-28 with 10 minutes left in the game. Christianson finished with 27 points, seven rebounds and 11 steals and Kristi Fett had 24 points, 12 rebounds and four blocks for the Athletics (14-1 overall).
“Last night it was Abigail and tonight it was Olivia,” LP head coach Justin Morris said. “I think that’s what’s made us so good this year is every night a different kid steps up for us.”
