According to Austin Police Chief Brian Krueger, officers responded to a call of shots fired at 10:46 a.m. on Sunday in the 1000 block of 11th Avenue Southwest. Officers spoke to neighbors, but received conflicting times for the shooting. Neighbors said the shooting was the night before between 11:30 p.m. and midnight on Saturday.

Officers found .40-caliber handgun shell casings at the scene. No one was reported injured.

Carrie Ann Iverson, 36

The investigation led police to conduct search warrants at two residences, one in the 900 block of 11th Avenue Southwest and another in the 200 block of Main Street South.

Police reported finding and seizing marijuana plants in the 11th Avenue residence.

They also allegedly found and seized mason jars filled with a green leafy substance and marijuana wax at the Main Street residence.

Klein lives at one of the residences and Iverson at the other. Two children, ages 12 or 13 years old and 10 months old, were also residing at the Main Street residence, Krueger said.

The investigation is ongoing.
