Blooming Prairie volleyball team sweeps Maple River

The Blooming Prairie volleyball team swept Maple River (5-5 overall, 0-2 Gopher) by scores of 25-19, 25-21, 25-12 on the road Thursday.

Sam Wurst had 12 kills for BP (11-7 overall, 2-3 Gopher) and Julia Work had 11 kills and four ace serves.

It was a nice win tonight coming off a tough loss on Tuesday,” BP head coach Ranell Kittelson said. “The girls were really able to turn things around in tonight’s match and play to their ability, hold a stronger block, pass more effective, and remain aggressive on offense.”
