Austin girls tennis team splits a pair of matches at home

The Austin girls tennis team picked up a split as it beat Faribault 5-2 and lost to Rochester Mayo 7-0 in Paulson tennis courts Tuesday.

Emily Sayles won her No. 1 singles match for Austin (2-9 overall, 2-7 Big Nine) by scores of 7-5, 6-1 over Faribault’s Chau Tryong and Amy Stoulil won her No. 1 singles match against Faribault’s Laura Huffstutter 7-5, 6-0.
