Maridee (Dee) Sue Gage, 75, died May 20, 2017, at her home in Tempe, Arizona.

Dee was born in Austin, Minnesota, on Sept. 8, 1941, to Robert and Inez Clark. After graduating from Austin High School, Dee married Ronald (Butch) Gage of Beatrice, Nebraska, in 1961. The family lived in Austin until 1974, when they moved to Arizona. Dee worked for Salt River Project and then Tempe Municipal Court, retiring to devote her time to dance and Zumba classes, family, church, Diamondbacks games and volunteer work. Dee was a devoted volunteer driver for Tempe Neighbors Helping Neighbors, was president of the Young-at-Heart Widow’s Club, a member of Senior C’s and a member of the Coffee, Tea, and Books book club. Dee attended church services faithfully at her beloved Sun Valley Community Church, where she was also a member of the Fellowship of Light Sunday School and regularly assisted with I-Help Homeless outreach.

Dee is survived by son, Robert Gage (Robbie); daughter, Gina Gage; granddaughters, Ashleigh Miller (Tyler) and Courtney Gage; great-granddaughter, Sterling Miller; brothers, John Clark and Steve Clark (Karen); sister, Diane Money (Jeff); stepsister, Sharon Kohl (Andy); and her beloved puppies, Miko and Frankie.

Dee’s memorial will be held at 11 a.m. on June 24, 2017, at Sun Valley Community Church, Tempe Campus.
