The No. 8 LeRoy-Ostrander girls basketball team kept its season alive with a 55-40 win over No. 9 Glenville-Emmons (0-22 overall) in a Section 1A West play-in game in LeRoy Tuesday.

Haley Hungherholt had 17 points and seven steals for the Cardinals (3-22 overall) and Kate Helgeson had nine points, 20 rebounds and six steals.

LO will play at No. 1 Goodhue in the Section 1A West quarterfinals 7 p.m. Thursday.
