The Minnesota / North Dakota Associated Builders and Contractors (ABS) gave Austin’s Joseph Company the top “Eagle” Award for Excellence In Construction for its work on Austin Utilities Service and Operations Center, which opened last year.

The Joseph Company was selected as the project’s construction manager for the 102,000-square-foot complex in October 2014 with a $16 million budget and completed the building on schedule and for almost $1 million under budget.

The Austin Utilities board of directors praised Joseph Company for organize bid packages that resulted in 60 percent of the project being performed by local contractors.
