The LeRoy-Ostrander boys basketball team couldn’t finish off a big comeback as it lost 60-56 to Mabel-Canton (7-12 overall, 6-8 SEC) on the road Friday.

The Cardinals (3-11 overall, 1-9 SEC) trailed by 18 points early in the second half and they got as close as three points late in the game.

“We picked up the pressure and made a comeback,” LO head coach Trevor Carrier said. “It was a good effort to come back, but we can’t put ourselves in that situation.”
