Kudos and thanks to the downtown merchants who provided such a safe and fun Halloween event for the children of our community. The Hall of Terror next to Bendixen Jewelry was very creative and a fun “scary” experience. The make your own puppet at the Austin Artworks Center was a popular activity. All the merchants who participated made the children feel welcome as they handed out the candy. Hopefully we in our community will reciprocate by utilizing the services of these downtown merchants as much as possible. We are lucky to have them and need to support them.
