The Hayfield volleyball team closed out its regular season by taking ninth place in the Rochester tournament over the weekend.
The Vikings lost to Rochester John Marshall, 25-16, 25-22, they topped Kingsland 25-18, 25-10, they beat Sauk Rapids 25-21, 25-18 and they topped Forest Lake 25-20, 17-25, 15-6.
Maggie Streightiff compiled 28 kills for the Vikings (21-5 overall) and Olivia Matti had 16 kills and 32 digs.
