The Austin softball team struggled with miscues as it lost 7-2 at Winona (3-0 overall, 3-0 Big Nine) Tuesday.

The Packers (1-4 overall, 1-4 Big Nine) committed seven errors in the loss.

“We’re playing hard, but you can’t have seven errors and expect to win in the Big Nine conference,” Austin head coach Al Eckmann said.

Shayley Vesel was three-for-three with two doubles for the Packers and Brooke Pazurek took the loss in the circle as she pitched the first four innings of the game.
