The Blooming Prairie softball team lost 7-0 to Mankato Loyola (1-0 overall) on the road Thursday.

Maya Lempke was 1-for-2 for the Awesome Blossoms (1-2 overall).

Elly Strunk allowed eight hits, two walks and two earned runs, while striking out two for BP.
