William David Sitzman, 46, of Austin, Minnesota, died Wednesday, March 2, 2016, at his home.

William David was born Feb. 17, 1970, in Wells, Minnesota, the son of David and Nancy (Reinlasoder) Sitzman. William graduated from Kiester High School, and went on to attend Mankato State University for two years where he studied engineering. He enjoyed farming alongside his father, and loved playing the guitar. He was a collector of many things, including farm toys. William had a sweet smile and a big heart, and was a gentle and kind man.

William is survived by his father, David; brother, Lyle; aunts, uncles; cousins and other friends.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents; and mother Nancy.

A funeral service was held Tuesday, March 8, 2016, at 10:30 a.m. at Dell Lutheran Church 47500 97th St., Frost, Minnesota. Visitation was Monday, March 7, 2016, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home in Wells, Minnesota.
