The Hayfield boys basketball team closed out its regular season with a 60-52 loss to Pine Island (13-12 overall, 6-10 HVL) in Hayfield Friday.

The Vikings (16-9 overall, 9-7 HVL) led by three at the half, but they couldn’t keep up with PI on the boards.

Hayfield will likely host a Section 1AA tournament game 7 p.m. Thursday.
