The No. 8 seeded Austin wrestling team beat No. 9 Rochester Century 60-21, but it lost 74-0 to No. 1 seeded No.5 ranked Farmington in the Section 1AAA tournament in Farmington Thursday.

Austin will compete in the individual Section 1A meet Friday and Saturday at Mayo Civic Center in Rochester.

“The boys need to be ready to wrestle,” Austin head coach Jer Osgood said. “All the hard work they have put in both in and out of season will be put to the test.”
