Acceptances

—Alyssa Jenkins from Austin has been accepted in the Wartburg College Teacher Education Program. Jenkins, an elementary education major, had to demonstrate effective reflective components in teaching, pass the Praxis Core Academic Skills for Educators exam and complete several other requirements to be considered for the program.

Graduations

—Emily Blanchard of Waltham graduated from Iowa Lakes Community College at the summer commencement ceremony in late July on the Emmetsburg campus. She received a diploma in surgical technology, cum laude.
