The senior center is celebrating Christmas

Bring in your gifts to wrap this week large or small they wrap them all. The Cedars of Austin will be here from 12:30 to 3 p.m. Wednesday to wrap your gifts and provide snacks and beverages for you while you wait.

They will have tables of appetizers and Jacks special holiday spirits here to drink. Gift wrapping is free but there will be a basket for donations. All donations go to the Mower County Senior Center. Bring in your gifts to wrap, we will see you there.

We want to be part of your family this Christmas. Come to the senior center at noon on Friday for a traditional Christmas dinner. Ham, mashed potatoes, gravy, corn, yams, roll and we won’t forget the dessert. Cost for members is $8.50 and non-members are $9.50.

Don’t forget to wear your Christmas best and we will take your Christmas pictures for you. We will include one picture with your dinner. Please sign up by stopping by the front desk or calling 507-433-2370. Everyone is welcome.Hope to see you there.

We look forward to seeing you at our many programs at the senior center. Don’t forget our coffee shop where every day you can have homemade soup for $1 and a sandwich for 50 cents. Tuesday, Dec. 8 we are having chicken and stuffing casserole for only $2.
