The George and Kathleen Finnegan Family announce the rebirth, from death unto Eternal Life in Our Lord Jesus Christ, of our dear Erin Elizabeth Finnegan. Erin passed on the Feast Day of Saint Elizabeth of Hungary, Nov. 17, 2015. She was at her home, surrounded by family in prayer with her. We, her loved ones, thank God for her beautiful life.

Erin lived as a lifelong member of Queen of Angels Catholic Church. She was a loving daughter, awesome sister, epic auntie and a great friend.

Erin was a speech pathologist who was blessed to work with the dedicated staff and terrific students of the Albert Lea School District. Go Tigers!!

Her family includes parents George and Kathleen; sister Ann Weydert; brother Bill (Jody) Finnegan, brother Thomas (Kimber) Finnegan, sister Megan (Jerry) Kraemer; precious nieces and nephews: Cosette, Carstin, Syndol, Stephanie, Andrew, Brett, Logan, Sr. Madeline, Michaela, Ben, Cole and Myra; godfather and uncle, Norman (Eileen) Wallace; and cherished cousins. Erin had friends so dear as to be counted as family.

A wake service will be held at Mayer Funeral Home on Thursday, Nov. 19, 2015, from 5 to 7 p.m. The time, 6:30 to 7 p.m. will be dedicated specifically to praying the Holy Rosary — all are welcome to participate. The funeral mass will be at Queens at 11 a.m. Preceding mass will be an hour for visitation. Erin loved to share blessings through the organization “Food for the Poor” and her parish, Queen of Angels. Condolences may be left online at www.mayerfh.com.
