Chandler tied the game with an early goal in the second half and she gave the Packers (7-6-1 overall, 4-5-1 Big Nine) the lead for good when she scored with two minutes left in OT.

“I’m so proud of my girls,” Austin head coach Enrique Camarena-Corzo said. “They played really amazing. To come back against a good team like Albert Lea, it was unbelievable. It was a huge win for us and it was like the perfect game.”

The Tigers (3-9-1 overall, 2-8 Big Nine) took an early lead on a penalty kick in the first five minutes of the game.

The victory gives the Packers seven regular season wins in at least seven years.

“The girls are really excited and they’re really pumped. They’re ready for sections. The girls are not afraid to play anyone,” Camarena-Corzo said. “I’d like to thank the crowd. They were really supportive and we really appreciate it when people come to watch us play.”
