The Austin girls cross country team took fifth place out of 12 teams at the Ev Berg Invite in Owatonna Thursday.

The Packer girls had a team score of 140 and Eastview won the meet with a score of 64. The Packer boys took 10th with a score of 247 and Rochester Century won the meet with a score of 47.

Abby Lewis took seventh for the Packers and Madison Overby took eighth in her first completed race of the season.

Mitchell Mayer took 33rd for the Packer boys.
