Car, home windows smashed

A homeowner returned to Austin after a few days away to find her car and home windows smashed in, as well as property missing.

Officers responded to the 800 Block of Third Avenue Northeast in Austin, to a report of a burglary and property damage Saturday around 11:15 p.m., according to Policed Chief Brian Krueger.

A homeowner returned home after being gone several days to find her vehicle, a 2004 Kia, four-door sedan, with the windshield shattered and a rear window smashed out. She also found the home’s backdoor window smashed out, and an intruder had entered the home.

A 32 inch Panasonic TV was missing, and a 42 inch Samsung TV had a cracked screen, and several drawers and other items looked as though they had been gone through.

There are no suspects at this time.
