Bruins pick up third straight win in Minot

The Austin Bruins won their third straight game as they topped the NAHL Central Division leading Minot Minotauros (9-3-2 overall) 2-1 in Minot Friday.

Kristofer Carlson was dominant as he stopped 23 shots in net to get the win for the Bruins (8-6-1 overall).

Austin took an early lead when Justin Misiak scored in the first period and Gilbert Gabor gave the Bruins a two-goal lead when he scored a short-handed goal to start the second period.
